Lorraine Hellwig’s award-winning photographical and artistic work explores the topics of human-made systems and their influences on the individual. In addition to her work as a reportage and portrait photographer, Lorraine published her ongoing project „Y A MANIFESTO“ in 2018, won the "Gute Aussichten - young German photography" award 2018/19 and the funding award for photography by the city of Munich 2024, had a portrait column, did several artistic residencies, such as in Palazzo Butera, Palermo and the Buro Stedelijk, Amsterdam. She founded the FAKE FACTORY, a platform for collaborations between design, art and activism (photo by Mathia Coco Riccioblu).
